Happy 3 years together!

So, Tim and I celebrated our three year anniversary today. You can read more about our story in my last post. Here is a picture of me, all dressed up and ready for a night on the town.Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach is an amazing seafood restaurant with a very classic New England feel. The food is so fresh, we watched them catch a swordfish and drag it from the boat into the restaurant! They even gave the sword to one of the diners who was so amazed by the whole thing.

This was our appetizer - scallops on the half shell. So good!

And the classic mixed clam chowder. Tim and I like to add tabasco sauce to it.
I'd like to show you my fish and chips platter and Tim's halibut but we were so hungry, by the time I thought to take a picture, we were halfway done. We also popped into one of my favorite gift stores and I bought a cool "prop" for my Halloween decorating. Don't worry, there will be halloween pictures soon enough, and once I start with that, there is just no stopping me! Hope you are all doing well, friends.

Congrats and Happy Anniversary!

The appetizer and soup looked delicious. You are so lucky to live in a place that offers fresh seafood. I live in Idaho, so we do not get a lot of fresh seafood here.

However, I am so exited. My husband and I are planning a trip to Carmel by the Sea in October. We have never been to Carmel and are really looking forward to it.

Happy Friday!

I went to a baby shower there when I was in college. It's a very cool restaurant! Happy anniversary you two. I wish you many more happy years together.

I love your idea that you gave me of placing ribbon on the antique paper holder.

I just want to run out to that antique store and place it on layaway right now.

Happy Sunday!

Wow, I've never seen raw scallops served before but I'd love to try that one day. The half New England, half Manhattan clam chowder is a great idea. Looks so yummy!!

P.S. Did I ever tell you that I love that you have "Word Verification" enabled for your blog comments. Just kidding, I hate it. Why you do dat?!

Thank you for your kind words about Bluewater Grill ! I am the owner and it is this type of WOM (word of mouth) that makes a big difference. THANK YOU ! Please come check out our new Tustin location (much closer to Dove Canyon) and very cool. Mention your blog and tell them "Jim U" said the first cocktail is on him !!!
